Travels. A painter and her family of art makers and storytellers…x

Matthew and I met just before Lock-down. We fast-tracked our world, and 4 years later here we are ready to hit the road again with babes in tow…x 2025 is slowly shaping up to be about adventure, education from real-time, real-life stories, and core welfare and conservation values. As a family committed to treading lightly on this land, we make our decisions carefully, with ‘why’s’ leading the charge. We commit to making the journey about giving back, receiving wisdom and knowledge from those more equipped and experienced, and shaping our children’s lives through the lens of others and not our own.

Matt and I on assignment for DSWF (The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation) in 2020, visiting Aaranyak in North Eastern India. It’s in my blood - conservation and art.

From safari tents and painting on the road, to studio set-ups among conservation outposts, there is nothing as a family we don’t want to cover. Sketchbooks on the move, detailed, refined finished works when home….the journey is long, and better together. Exploration is what will lie beneath my children’s development, and my own studio inspiration.
